Lyn Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Software Developer. This position is located at our Rockledge, Florida office, or our Huntsville, Alabama location. Position is eligible for relocation.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Design & development of real-time radar subsystem control software using Python and/or MATLAB

• Development of FPGA based waveform generators and timing subsystems

• Generation of high-quality software based on project specifications and customer needs

• Support generation of software design documentation: Software Development Plan, Software Requirements Specification, Software Design Document, Version Description Document

• Integration and testing of radar subsystem hardware & software, as well as development of integration and test plans

• Perform subsystem and system level performance testing

• Support on-site integration and test activities to meet project requirements

• Development and updates to radar system & subsystem user documentation

• Prepare and participate in cross-functional engineering design reviews

• Support implementation and mitigation of cybersecurity protocols and RMF controls

• Provide on-site radar engineering and operations support, to include land and shipboard systems

• Recommend process improvements and participate in design reviews

• Potential for travel up to 25%

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in STEM majors

• C, C++, C#, and Python competency

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) competency

• Real-time software development experience

• Linux shell scripting desirable

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain DoD security clearance - dual citizenship not accepted

 

Preferred Experience:

• Design, development, integration, operations, and maintenance experience with Instrumentation Radar systems

• MATLAB experience

• Certifications related to qualifications

• Cybersecurity and RMF controls familiarity
